October Sky

October Sky is an original oil painting by Sheryl Knight.  This is a landscape painting from northern California just below the Oregon border.  As we were driving north on Highway 5 last fall I saw this gorgeous sunset over some distant fields with trees and small farm buildings, I knew it would be a beautiful painting.  We pulled over long enough to watch the sky and take some photos trying to capture the scene in front of us.  It really is about the sky and clouds.
