September Vines

September Vines is a painting from San Luis Obispo County in California.  It is a vineyard in Paso Robles that has a very Tuscany feel to it.   September is a great time of year for painting vineyards as they vines are full but yet have not completely turned color yet before losing their leaves for the winter.  The small buildings in the picture with their red-tiled roofs only add to the interest in the scene, together with the distant hills and homes.
