Life at the Lake

Life at the Lake is an original oil painting by Sheryl Knight.  It is a fun and lively scene from Hume Lake on a holiday weekend.  The colorful umbrellas and many people relaxing by the lake on the edge of the lawn are a common weekend tradition in summer.  Hume Lake is part of a large Christian Conference Ground located between Kings Canyon National Park and Sequoia National Park in the Western Sierras of California.  It is truly one of my favorite places to be any time of the year.  The weather is great and it is always beautiful.
