River in Fall

River in Fall is from Eastern Idaho in Autumn near the small town of Alta.   It is close to the Grand Tetons and has a view of the mountains close by,  I chose the river scene to paint as I loved the contrast between the golden aspens and the dark mountains and river.  The scene is close to evening.
