Sunset in Vermont

Sunset in Vermont is an oil painting by Sheryl Knight of the sun setting over Lake Champlain near Burlington, Vermont in late September.  The sky color was breathtaking and the clouds amazing.  The residents there told us they have a sunset like that almost nightly and come out to watch it.  I painted the colors as close to what I actually saw as I could.  What a beautiful lake and place to live.
