Yosemite in Autumn

Yosemite in Autumn is an oil painting by Sheryl Knight Fine Art.  It is a view of Half Dome from Sentinel Bridge in the Fall.   The color of the trees, along with the reflection of Half Dome in the Merced River make a great composition.  Yosemite National Park is one of America's favorite national parks, toured by thousands of people from all over the world each year.  I found it especially beautiful with the Fall colors, though it is stunning any time of the year.The original painting I did of this scene was 12x16.  After it had sold I decided to do a large painting of the same scene 18x24.
