April Showers

April Showers is an original oil painting on linen by Sheryl Knight. This is a studio painting of a combination of several smaller paintings and other references.  The yellow farmhouse was from a trip we took to western Idaho last summer.  The wildflowers were more local from California.  The clouds were from cloud photos I have taken as we travel.   Basically, this is was a fun experiment of combining different elements to make a spring composition!
