Autumn Song

Autumn Song is a painting of the beautiful trees in the fall in Southern Oregon along the Applegate River, between Grants Pass and Jacksonville.   The mountains behind with the clouds creeping over them made for a very picturesque scene to paint.  I love southern Oregon and find unlimited subject matter for paintings.   Any time of the year it is green, and there is always an abundance of trees, mountains, and rivers.

This painting won the first place award at the Laguna Plein Air Painters Assoc. exhibit in Laguna Beach, Ca in November 2017.
