Moonrise Over Cypress Point, original oil painting by Sheryl Knight, started on location as a plein air painting and completed in the studio. Cypress Point is in Point Lobos State Park just south of Carmel, CA. It was painted in May on a very rainy day leaving beautiful clouds in the sky for the moon to peak through.
